This project is for my not-so-little sister, as I see her, her world through my eyes, and a homage to our sisterhood.
It‘s also for everyone else who wants to observe how diverse sisterhoods can be and that growing up and growing together doesn‘t happen the same way or at the same speed for everyone.
My sister has a severe disability and I‘ve made many decisions for her, yet I never knew if it was the right one?
One of my greatest wishes is to be able to live a day inside my sister‘s head, to know how she thinks, how she feels, how she sees herself.
As close as no other person could ever be to me, she is that close to me and I am that close to her, a connection and a love that can only exist between the two of us,
and yet, we have so many questions about each other that we can‘t answer because neither of us fully understands the other‘s language.
Since her birth, I‘ve watched her grow every day and hope that this project will help her see what a hero she is to me.
